The Virago Coin Necklace in ethical 925 sterling silver depicts a lovingly carved eagle perched atop a round sapphire. A cable chain complements the weathered surface of the coin pendant conveying depth of character. In its original Latin, Virago described a woman with exemplary and heroic qualities, a ‘warrior woman’. Aspirational attributes such as strength, courage, and nobility, also associated with the mighty eagle, are tempered by the wisdom of the blue sapphire.
