The idea for this ring came from my admiration for the sea turtles that grace the shores of Byron Bay, a place where the ocean is a way of life. The Arakwal people, the Indigenous custodians of this land, call the sea turtle “Binguing” and view it as a symbol of wisdom and protection. I wanted to capture that sense of reverence in this design, reflecting the ancient rhythms of the ocean and the importance of protecting these magnificent creatures. Whether you’re a surfer, a nature lover, or someone who cherishes the ocean, this ring is a reminder of the beauty and harmony found in the natural world.
